What Newton-le-Willows has to offer?

In the spring of 2021, Rightmove listed Newton-le-Willows as the second “hottest property seller’s market”. 82% of properties listed for sale in the area were sold, subject to contract.

Some of the reasons Rightmove cited Newton-le-Willows as an excellent place to live include:

  • A vibrant and busy High Street

  • A great range of independent shops allowing consumers to find goods they couldn’t elsewhere

  • A fine selection of pubs and restaurants

  • Dependable transport links

We also think there are many great outdoor spaces in the local area, which is very important for buyers in the present day.

Newton-le-Willows councillor Seve Gomez-Aspron spoke to St Helens Star, about the Rightmove recommendation for the local area, saying: “Those of us who live here know how fantastic Newton-le-Willows is. Mainly down to our great parks, excellent schools, bustling High Streets, dedicated independent businesses and amazing volunteer and community groups. Our transport links are second to none and our new train station and train services put most of the UK in a couple of hours reach. So the fact people want to be here isn’t a surprise, so the Rightmove study is great news!”

How is the Newton-le-Willows property market faring in 2022?

As you can see from the information shared above, property prices in Newton-le-Willows rose significantly in 2021. This isn’t a surprise as property prices rose sharply across the country last year. There are many reasons for this, but with demand for homes being far greater than the supply of property, it is easy to see why this is the case.
